America & Beyond is looking for an experienced Head Designer to lead our apparel and accessories designs, product development function from our Gurgaon office.

We are looking for a senior fashion professional with 10+ years of experience with established apparel fashion brands. This role requires someone who can combine strong creative direction with a commercial understanding of what sells and why.

This is a Work-from-Office role near Sector 37, Gurugram.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of seasonal collections, with a focus on resortwear, contemporary womenswear, and lifestyle apparel.
• Build commercially relevant collections using historical sales, best sellers, customer feedback, and market trends.
• Translate proven styles and opportunities into fresh collections without becoming repetitive.
• Lead development across prints, embroidery, handwork, fabrics, colors, silhouettes, and garment detailing.
• Oversee the complete product journey from concept and mood boards through sampling, fittings, revisions, and production.
• Work closely with sourcing and production teams on costing, margins, quality, and production feasibility.
• Understand fit, garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes at a strong technical level.
• Partner with sales and management to understand wholesale, retail, and key-account requirements.
• Lead and mentor the design team and ensure collections are delivered on schedule.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of relevant experience is must in apparel/fashion design and product development.
• Very Strong experience with established clothing or fashion brands.
• Experience as a Senior Designer, Design Manager, Head Designer, or similar senior role.
• Fashion Design education should be required, ideally from a strong/reputed fashion institute.
• Strong background in womenswear; resortwear or contemporary/lifestyle fashion experience is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of prints, embroidery/handwork, fabrics, fit, garment construction, and production.
• Strong understanding of product costing and commercial viability.
• Ability to analyze sales and product-performance data and translate those insights into future collections.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
• Must be based in or willing to work full-time from Gurgaon HQ.
